People who worry about the possibility of euthanasia being used against people who don't want to die, consider this: Knives can be used to kill people. But we still have knives everywhere. Hardbound books can be used to kill people. But we have them everywhere. Practically anything can be used to kill, if someone wants to kill.This is therefore not a valid argument. Why should we assume that euthanasia will turn all of humanity into murderers?

I understand the arguments for voluntary euthanasia, but it's a slippery slope. Elderly people could end up being bullied and intimidated to request euthanasia. People might ask to be allowed to die on the spur of the moment and - if they'd lived - they would have regretted it. It's undeniably tricky, but I think as a society we should care for the weak rather than letting them decide to die, because the alternative would bring unforseen consequences, with people being bullied into it.

Euthanasia seems pointless if a person is terminally sick and not subjected to tube insertion or oxygen tank.. the sick person will die a natural death in due time.. but what i dont understand is when a relative put someone in the care of the hospital and perform euthanasia on that sick relative..pointless as i analize it???

"you are obviously not very clever because you dont even know how to spell it"not including the several apostraphe's you missed, there are several mistakes YOU made.- the big bang, if true, was FAR larger than an atom bomb.-just because you looked in the mirror and decided that several billion people are wrong, doesn't mean that you are automatically right.Everyone is entitled to their own opinion, just try to deliver it in a sensible, non-biased manner next time.
